Parks Canada will be holding a special symposium at Ingonish, Nova Scotia (Cape Breton Highlands National Park) to discuss and celebrate storied golf course designer Stanley Thompson. Among other masterpieces like Jasper Park Lodge Golf Club and Banff Springs Golf Club, Thompson also designed the wonderful Highlands Links Golf Course in Ingonish that is still operated by Parks Canada within the National Park.

Luminaries such as Lorne Rubenstein from Globe and Mail, Ian Andrew from Andrew Golf Design and Robert Thompson from the National Post and OntGolf.ca will be in attendance to present material on Stanley Thompson as part of the program.
